CocoRose London...

In my placement recently I got the most fantastic opportunity of helping out with some PR for a shoe company called CocoRose London.

I had never heard of the company before and was intrigued as to what it had to offer but was pleasantly surprised…

…CocoRose London helps (us) damsels in distress with aching feet from ‘those’ over expensive stylish stilettos. CocoRose London simply saves our day.

The company had developed a collection of glamorous foldable flats

The method is simple, when your out and about (if it’s walking to work or even partying the night away) and your heels are killing you then simply pull out the foldable flats from your handbag. With a leather purse for the foldable flats to fit into, it is small enough enough to fit into ‘the average’ woman’s handbag.

I was rather surprised of my discovery that the leather purse folds out into a large chic bag to carrier your other killer heels in.

I think CocoRose London’s concept is fantastic. I for one is a constant victim of the killer heels when out and about. I think it’s a brilliant idea that someone has come up with the idea of rescuing us without having to ruin our night.

After my discovery of CocoRose London I was looking forward to helping out with PR tasks on my work placement – it made it that more enjoyable.

I’ve already recommened a pair of foldable flats to my girlies and they love them!

If you want to see what CocoRose London has to offer then visit www.cocoroselondon and browse their online boutique.

You’ll never have an excuse not to party hard anymore!

Let me know what you think of CocoRose London’s collection and if you would wear any of the foldable flats yourself.

Much love,

Franky

The Sun Has Got His Hat On?

Summer is just around the corner and I cannot wait! We have had some ‘nice day’s’ at the moment but I can’t wait for Mr. Sunshine to come!

The thing I love about summer so much is that the weather puts everyone in such a good mood that makes everyone else in their company in a good mood…

…I can’t wait to hunt out my ‘summer gear’ from the back of my wardrobe – it’s been to long!

The smell of sun cream and BBQ’s is long over due and we’re all in need of some healthy rays, so bring on the sun!

I think the rainy weather is the reason why us Brits moan a lot! Mean of me to say, I know, but, we would have nothing to complain about if the weather was like it is in Italy! We would never have to wait for a bus as we would walk (so no complaining there….) basically I just believe everyone would be in such a jolly good mood when it’s a nice day outside.

Don’t you agree?!

Much love,

Franky,

Work Placement

As you may be aware I am in my 2nd year of study at Sunderland, hence the reason why I’m writing this blog as part of my Social Media module. I had the most fantastic opportunity of recently being able to go on placement in a real public relations agency – it was fantastic!

The agency was near to where I lived back at home which meant I could get there easily. I didn’t know what to expect so I made sure I went in with an open mind!

My placement only lasted for a week but gave me enough time to give me an insight into what I really thought it would be like.

I met some lovely people who were passionate in what they were doing and they made my time at the work placement that more enjoyable.

Surprisingly, I learnt a lot from the 1 week that I was there, with the tasks that has been given to me. I got the most amazing task of helping out a shoe company by doing some PR for them; the company was called CocoRose London – which I immediately fell in love with. Girls + Shoes = Sheer Heaven.

I would say that working in a public relations agency has not changed my opinion, if anything it’s made more passionate about working in this sector when I graduate.

Have you been on work placement or work experience? If so, how did it go? My experience may be different to yours and I’d be happy to read.

Much love,

Franky,
